The Rhode Island CDL test is challenging but very passable with proper preparation. You need to score 80% to pass. Most students who practice with our free tests and study the official Rhode Island DMV handbook pass on their first attempt.

Your Rhode Island Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) is valid for 180 days (6 months). You must complete your ELDT training and pass the CDL skills test before it expires. If it expires, you'll need to retake the written tests.
